Our own personal experiences in caregiving enrich our approaches, allowing us to offer compassionate support and insightful guidance as families navigate the complexities of care. Agency Owner and Director
Abigail Tucker-Untz
Abigail founded Abide Senior Resources in 2025 after watching families struggle to navigate care options. Through Abide, Abigail is able to support families and individuals in making informed decisions around care needs throughout the greater Triad and Triangle area. A North Carolina native, Abigail brings nearly a decade of experience in the human services sector. She has worked in gerontology, substance abuse, mental health services, and community engagement--always with the mission and purpose of ensuring dignity-centered care. Abigail enjoys working with individuals and their families to help provide stability and surety, uphold autonomy, promote advocacy, and ensure dignity throughout the care process. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her three-legged Rottweiler, Peggy and Shepherd Mix, Iris.

Guide and Educator
Dona Hedgecock
Dona Hedgecock is a seasoned educator and community advocate with over 25 years of experience in classroom instruction and educational leadership. She leverages her extensive background to help older adults and their families become educated on the opportunities available to them, ensuring that families and older adults have the information and support needed to thrive.​ A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Dona has spent her career in North Carolina, combining her professional expertise with a deep commitment to community service. Her approach is rooted in empathy, clarity, and a genuine desire to empower others through education and resource accessibility. When not working, Dona loves spending time with her family, (especially her grandson) reading, and watching K-dramas.

Geriatrician
Mia Saulter, AGPCNP-BC
Mia Saulter joins Abide as the in-house consultative geriatrician, providing recommendations and guidance around complex medical cases. Mia graduated in 2018 from Duke University and became an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (AGPCNP-BC). Since then, Mia has worked with older adults at assisted livings, hospices, and even her own home care agency. Mia brings to Abide a deep love for older adults and their families, always striving to ensure quality care that is both person-centered and dignity-led. With her expertise and healthcare experience, Abide is able to ensure that families receive the appropriate support needed to flourish--whether at home or at a community. In her spare time, Mia loves being with her children.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Fatima Hindly, PMHNP-BC
Fatima Hindly joins Abide resources as our consultative psychiatric practitioner. Fatima works to approach mental health from a holistic perspective, often integrating nutrition, exercise, and self-care into her practice. As a graduate of Baylor University with over 10 years of nursing experience, Fatima specializes in diagnosing complex mental health comorbidities, managing medications, and providing brief interventional supports for both patients and families. Fatima always strives to center the patient in her practice, ensuring they feel heard, seen, and understood. In her free time, Fatima enjoys spending time with her partner, their three cats, and volunteering with organizations to help combat the stigmatization of mental illness.

Child and Family Therapist, LCSW
Mollie Pinkham
Mollie Pinkham graduated from The University of North Carolina Greensboro with a Master's in Social Work. Since then, she has worked with children and families to provide therapeutic services and community support to those with PTSD, ADHD, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and other complex comorbidities. Mollie joins Abide to help provide insight into complex social, emotional, and psychological needs. Additionally, she works with individuals and families on a one-on-one basis to foster effective communication, reduce caregiver fatigue, and help in the implementation of intervention strategies. When not working, Mollie enjoys reading, drinking coffee, going to her local farmer's market, and spending time with her husband and son.
